If the leaves don’t ripen and fall to the ground, or when we can no longer see them (because the trees have gone), we may be walking in the desert.
And because they ripen and fall, we feel the passage of time, the cycle of nature. Just like my moustache, beard and silver hair that continues to go wild, time moves and flies.
