In the Minami Alps, Yamanashi, Japan
From the window of my hotel, at half past five in the morning, this is what I can see; the autumn sun is rising. I am preparing to climb the Minami Alps in Yamanashi.
As I leave the hotel, the fragrance of the pine forest greets and invigorates the traveller.
